The news is out! Onclusive has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for PR & Media Monitoring Tools. I’m incredibly proud to share this news and grateful to the customers and colleagues who have and continue to contribute to our vision and its realization.
For our product and engineering teams, this moment matters because of what it represents for our customers. In our opinion, it reflects a crucial choice we made to stop stitching separate tools together and build one connected platform for the whole communications lifecycle. It’s a choice that defines how we build today.
But let’s start with why this is particularly meaningful.
Gartner delivers actionable, objective insights to executives and their teams. Its expert guidance and tools enable faster, smarter decisions and stronger performance on an organization’s mission-critical priorities. The two axes shown in the Magic Quadrant are Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. Onclusive is positioned in the Leaders quadrant of the 2026 report for PR & Media Monitoring Tools.
For anyone evaluating a media intelligence partner, it’s a useful independent perspective to consider alongside your own requirements.
The job of a communicator has changed
A few years ago, monitoring meant tracking print, online news, and broadcast. Today, reputation is also shaped in podcasts, on social platforms and, increasingly, inside the answers that AI search engines give when someone asks about your brand.
At the same time, communications leaders face more pressure than ever to prove impact. They need to show what earned coverage achieved, not just how much of it there was. And they need to do it with lean teams spread across markets and languages.
And let’s not forget AI’s broader impact. Every day, we see more of what it can deliver and more ways it can improve how we access and use intelligence.
This combination shaped every major product decision we have made over the past year.
One platform, one dataset
The biggest change we made was structural. We brought together media monitoring, social monitoring, media relations, AI search visibility, and measurement into one SaaS platform, built on a single, copyright-compliant global content dataset. Onclusive runs on the Global Content Hub, which ingests and enriches more than 28 million daily pieces of media content across more than 110 markets. Onclusive also captures TV and radio content in-house, using speech-to-text and computer vision for real-time speaker, on-screen logo, and music detection.
A team can now spot a story, understand its sentiment and reach, contact the right journalists, and measure the result without moving data between tools.
On that foundation, we’ve delivered product updates I’m especially proud of:
- Onclusive GEO Analytics shows how your brand and competitors appear in AI search answers, why, and which earned media opportunities could change that.
- Onclusive Analytics gives teams self-service measurement across online news, print, broadcast, podcasts, and social media, with AI summaries that point out trends and anomalies as they happen.
- Onclusive Contact connects media lists, press release distribution, and outreach tracking to the same platform used to monitor and measure coverage.
- Broadcast intelligence, computer vision applied at scale to broadcast content, generating contextually relevant brand mention clips, distinguishing speakers from interviewers, identifying themes, and detecting on-screen banners, chyrons, and logos.
- Press Review templates, decision-ready briefings that combine multiple media types, including social, in a format built for executive sharing.
- Onclusive Data-as-a-Service continues to deliver licensed, copyright-compliant and proprietary content with enrichment directly into customers’ systems for communications and risk use cases.
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, with pre-built Skills that bring Global Content Hub content into customers’ AI Assistants, LLMs and workflow tools.
As our CEO, Peter Harris, put it, “our customers told us they wanted fewer tools, better data, and clear evidence of impact. Building one platform was how we answered them. We are proud to be named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant report, and in our view it reflects the work our teams across every region have put into the platform.”
Technology and expertise, together
We believe the best results come from pairing strong technology with experienced people. AI is excellent at scale, reading vast volumes of coverage and flagging what has changed. But knowing whether a story will escalate, or how coverage should be framed for a board, takes judgement that data alone can’t supply.
That’s why customers can choose how they work with us: fully self-serve in the platform, supported by our specialists, or with our Onclusive Insights analysts who deliver curated briefings and strategic advice. Our analysts use the same platform as our customers, so their expertise shapes how we build it. The result is fast signals from the technology and expert judgement on what to do next.
What comes next for Onclusive
Our product strategy is to build on the strength of one data foundation, using AI to process every media type across global markets and languages in near real time, so PR and communications teams can work faster and sharper. We keep humans in the loop to make sure AI is used ethically and practically, with human expertise available where and when it matters most.
Our roadmap focuses on three areas:
- Agentic AI that takes on routine tasks, such as building briefs or flagging emerging issues, using pre-built, easy-to-use skills and tools, so teams can spend more time on strategy.
- Deeper AI visibility across the platform, so earned media and AI search performance can be planned and measured together.
- More partnerships and integrations, so Onclusive data flows into the tools our customers already use.
We will keep building on one platform and one dataset, because we believe that is what lets us move fastest for our customers. And we believe being named a Leader reflects that direction.
